Lydia Zion United Methodist Church is a community of servants that
is part of the apostolic Christian church and is made up of true
believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
As a family of believers bound by the love and
saving power of Jesus Christ, it is our vision to promote and
foster spiritual revival to each member of our congregation and
community. We propose that to be an extension of God's grace this
church will seek to support the preaching of God's Word and the
regular administration of the Sacraments.
Under
the guidance and discipline of the Holy Spirit, the Lydia Zion
United Methodist Church seeks to provide for the conducting of
Spirit-filled worship,
The instruction of seekers and the discipleship of believers,
The evangelization of our family, community and world,
The offering of Christ's justice, mercy, healing and compassion
through prayer and our personal and congregational service and
gifts to all human need as we are led by God.
We
trust God to work through our ministry so that grace might reign
through righteousness and eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord. Amen. |
