So
have you been to church and seen the new tiled basement? That's
right! New tile has been put in the church basement and does it
look great. We had a company come in and do all the work for us.
They took up the old tile, leveled the floor out, and glued down
a new tile that the UMW picked out. Thanks to the many donations
that came in for this to be done.
Here
is a picture taken from the stairs. You can see that everything
had to be removed in order to have this project done. The company
that did the work completed the job in about 5 days.
Here
you can see some buckets of adhesive along with the leveling compound
down on the floor. they got the floor so level that we don't need
little wood blocks under the table legs anymore. They even took
out the drain that was in the middle of the floor.
This
is a picture of one of our classrooms. You can see the old tile
has been removed and they are prepping the floor for the new tile
to be laid down.

the new tile has been installed. It really looks great and the color
is very nice too. Should give us many happy years in the "Church
Basement".
