Lydia
Zion United Methodist Church donates 10% of offerings given to the
church to different Christian mission organizations and groups.
What’s is missions? Mission's is a group of Christian people,
organizations or individuals that are reaching out through Jesus
Christ to make a difference in peoples lives so we may live in a
more Christian world. The Lord has taught us to tithe and Lydia
Zion United Methodist Church is proud that we tithe and do our part.

Month
of February- Feed My Starving Children |
|
|
|
Feed My Starving Children
is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s
starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple:
children and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving
children, and we ship the meals to more than 60 countries around
the world. Save the Date - May 1 - 7:00
- 9:00 PM Bag food at FMSC at the Chanhassen facility: 18738 Lake
Drive East, Chanhassen, MN 55317.

of March - CAP Agency w/Food Shelf Donations |
|
|
|
The CAP Agency assists
and empowers people to achieve social and economic well being by
providing services in partnership with our communities. Corporations
match cash donations in the month of March. Cash donations must
be received by March 21 (indicate CAP on the memo line of your check). |
|
We
will be collecting certain food items each week to help you think
of items needed,. Although you can bring any item
at any time. |

shavers, shaving lotion, bar soap, soft soap, shampoo, conditioner,

mixes, frostings, flour, sugar, oil, Crisco, chocolate chips,
nuts, vanilla, brownie mixes, bread mixes, etc. |
